GTE has set the standard for supporting these Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLEC), by providing regional training sessions for order processing personnel. However, this was only a temporary measure until the launch of the CLEC Ordering Support System (COSS), complete with a dedicated web site, online ordering capability, and interactive training, serving a national audience. bulletPanel Discussion of OnLine Learning 98 - A panel of local attendees to the OnLine Learning 98 Conference (September 23rd-25th) in Anaheim, CA will discuss what they saw and learned, as well as their impressions of the current state and future of computer based training.  Due to the number of attractive but concurrently run sessions, it was impossible for a single attendee to see and hear everything available at the conference.  This will be an excellent opportunity for local members who missed the opportunity to travel to the west coast to learn more about what occurred at the annual ToolBook developers conference.  Panel participants are being asked to bring handouts collected at the conference for review.
