WBT Manager™ is a Learning Management System (LMS) designed exclusively to organize, deploy, and track web-based training content. Using WBT Manager to manage your web-based training, you can build your courses from reusable modules of web-enabled learning content or import any AICC-compliant web-based course, register and enroll your students in courses, set up certification classes, track students progress through courses and certification classes and so much more!

WBT Manager™ was developed with four things in mind: usability, versatility, compatibility, and scalability.

Usability

WBT Manager™'s clean, intuitive interface keeps your learning curve shallow. Drag-and-drop features make it a breeze to define courses and assign them to students. Local administrators log in through their web browsers to manage the training needs of their own students. Versatility

WBT Manager™ was designed for you. Go ahead. Dress it up in your house colors. Make up your own reports. Link students to on-line tutors, discussion groups, chat rooms, or whatever suits your needs. You're in control. Are students allowed to take lessons in test-only mode? It's up to you. Must students finish one lesson before starting another? That's your call. Do you need classroom or hands-on activities? Define an off-line course. It will appear in students' course menus, and you can enter completion results so it can be tracked with related online courses.

Compatibility

Do you need the freedom to use courses from many different vendors? WBT Manager™ is certified as compliant with the AICC standard for web-based training. This is the first practical nonproprietary standard for communication between an LMS and the courseware it manages. WBT Manager™ is compatible with and can directly import any AICC-compliant web-based course. You can also build your own WBT Manager™ compatible courseware using a variety of popular authoring tools, including our own WBT Author™.

Open standards are becoming a big item for content and LMS vendors. On-line Training Corporation leads the pack with AICC Web Certification and are now ensuring that we conform to the ADL/SCORM initiative.

Scaleability

Whether you have 100, 10,000 or 100,000 students, WBT Manager™ will scale to meet your needs. WBT Manager™ ships with a Microsoft Access database suitable for a small installation. If your needs are larger, move on up to SQL Server or Oracle. Our licensing structure is scalable, too, with student population-based pricing and affordable leasing options.
